Barbados has pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, but also 17th century English churches from its British colonial past. The capital city of Bridgetown is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a central hub for the island. But there’s more to this Caribbean port city than sun, sand, and surf. Discover “The Top 10 Things to Do in Bridgetown Barbados.”
Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis
Basseterre's stately fountains and English-style churches reflect the island’s colonial history as a British colony. Located in the middle of the Lesser Antilles, the two islands comprising the single Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis provides a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation. From spectacular beaches to a range of spectacular sights — volcanic hills, storied sugar plantations, colonial fortresses, and the majestic Mount Liamuiga, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
This verdant “Nature Island” boasts volcanoes, waterfalls and abundant must-see beauty. It’s famous, towering Trafalgar Falls, located in Morne Trois Pitons National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a premier destination on the island. Fun fact: the island nation is the source of Rose’s Lime Juice, a requisite of the perfect gimlet cocktail.
Philipsburg, Sint Maarten
Sint Maarten is a constituent country of The Netherlands. Philipsburg is its capital and the island’s main commercial and cultural hub. This popular port offers a wide variety of sightseeing activities and duty-free shopping. The island offers plenty of secluded white sand beaches, captivating views and opportunities for relaxation.
