Seabourn Expeditions: The Best of Both Worlds

Earlier this year, Seabourn Vice President, Sales and Trade, Steve Smotrys sailed on a Seabourn Venture Expedition voyage in the Arctic. As he shared previously, it was an extraordinary, life-changing, experience filled with Seabourn Moments that will live in his memory forever.

During that voyage he hosted an expert panel with members of Seabourn’s Expedition Team to discuss what makes an expedition voyage on Seabourn so special and what guests can expect from this experience.

Steve and Director of Product Development Jen Martin, Expedition Leader Juan Restrepo, and Submarine Pilot Cassie Sleeper share their experience and passion for expedition travel. Watch the complete 30-minute video or jump directly to any of these specific topics:

The team also discusses their favorite experiences they have had on voyages and the impact these amazing opportunities have on guests and the life-changing moments your clients can look forward to experiencing on a Seabourn Expedition.

It is not too late for your clients to be among the first to experience these remarkable itineraries. Between November 2022 and February 2023, Seabourn Venture will take travelers on adventures of discovery cruising scenic sounds, fjords, channels, and glaciers in Chile; sailing to Antarctica; and crossing back to explore South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. The ship’s 11- to 22-day voyages to “The Great White Continent” will include The Antarctic Experience. In May 2023, she will embark on two new itineraries. On May 12, 2023, the ship will sail from Greenwich to Edinburgh on the 12-Day Lands of the Celts exploring the United Kingdom before continuing her northern trek for 11 days sailing from Edinburgh to Reykjavík on May 24, 2023. Guests can enjoy both itineraries on the 23-Day Celtic Isles to Iceland voyage. From there, starting June 4, 2023, Seabourn Venture will meander through the Arctic with a heavy focus on Iceland and Greenland before taking the iconic trek across the Northwest Passage in late August. If you and your clients have not already, be sure to access Seabourn’s Voyage Tracker to follow the chronicles of our expeditions from the ship.
