Itinerary Updates and Ship Redeployments

Given the ongoing conflict and sanctions in Russia, we have committed to having no calls in Russian territory. Therefore, voyages are being adjusted to exclude Russian content, which has also resulted in additional deployment changes. As a result, we have unfortunately cancelled affected 2023 and 2024 voyages on Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit. In addition, due to continued restrictions and uncertainty around access to the ports we visit in Asia, we have found it necessary to also update Seabourn Odyssey’s 2023 itineraries.

Our expert teams have developed exciting new opportunities for our guests to experience the wonders of Seabourn and turn phenomenal Seabourn Moments into lifelong memories around the world.

Below you will find specifics regarding the changes for each of the ships and their new itineraries.

Seabourn Odyssey – Asia, Pacific and Alaska
We have extended Seabourn Odyssey’s Australia & New Zealand deployment with a brand-new 12-day round-trip Sydney sailing, departing March 9, 2023. Seabourn Odyssey will be calling on the cosmopolitan cities of Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne as well as wildlife-rich destinations: Kangaroo Island, Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula, and Eden in New South Wales. Not to forget a call to Batemans Bay where guests can explore Batemans Bay Snorkeling Trail or head to trendy Canberra, capital of Australia.

The ship will also be offering new Pacific and Alaska sailings. From March to May 2023, Seabourn Odyssey will follow a path of islands across the immense blue arc of the Pacific – sailing from one intriguing, enticing landfall to the next – creating the best way to explore these extraordinary islands. Itineraries will embark in Sydney, Fiji, Tahiti, and Honolulu for durations ranging from 12 to 65 days – a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity you won’t want to miss!

Due to popular demand, we added two 7-day sailings to the 18 sailings already planned for Seabourn Odyssey’s 2023 Alaska season. The first departing from Vancouver to Juneau on May 12, 2023, will take in the majestic Glacier Bay National Park. The return voyage departing on May 19, 2023, will visit the pristine Tracy Arm and Endicott Arm Fjords.

Guests may explore all the wonder of these destinations in one gorgeous 14-day Alaskan adventure, while benefiting from a 10% combination voyage discount.

Seabourn Ovation – Northern Europe
Seabourn Ovation will be exploring Iceland, the land of ice and fire, where guests will be able to enjoy majestic fjords and explore cultural hubs including the capital city Reykjavík, the northern treasure of Akureyri, and the remote volcanic island Heimaey. Voyage options include two 7-day voyages that can be combined into a 14-day voyage that will circumnavigate Iceland in an experience unlike any other. These sailings can also be combined with the existing 14-day North Cape sailings for a 21-day package of adventure and natural beauty.

Due to popular demand, we are also adding another voyage to Seabourn Ovation's British Isles sailings out of Dover. This will give guests more opportunities to explore phenomenal ports like Dublin, Edinburgh, the Isle of Man, and beyond, which can also be combined with pre- or post-voyage holidays in London.

Finally, our updated Transatlantic voyages including the 24-Day Caribbean & Atlantic Crossing and our 14-Day Bermuda & Atlantic Crossing voyages will now be pulling into Dover as our final port of call, a change from Tilbury. These secluded transatlantic voyages allow our guests to experience the joys of our ships in full; a level of comfort and care we pride ourselves upon. The joys of the open ocean cannot be diminished, with gorgeous views of the night sky and an ever-changing horizon that stretches as far as the eye can see.

Seabourn Venture
In May 2023, Seabourn Venture will sail two new voyages, a 12-day voyage from Greenwich to Edinburgh exploring the United Kingdom and a 11-day sailing from Edinburgh to Reykjavík. From there, starting June 4, 2023, Seabourn Venture will be operating the originally planned deployment for Seabourn Pursuit. She will meander through the Arctic with a heavy focus on Iceland and Greenland before taking the iconic trek across the Northwest Passage in late August. From there she will head down the West Coast of the Americas before reaching Antarctica for the season, operating between October 2023 and February 2024. In late February 2024 she will make a once-in-a-lifetime crossing of the Atlantic encompassing the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, St. Helena, and Ascension Island. In March and April, the ship will take two sailings up the West Coast of Africa and Europe to be in position for the 2024 Arctic season.

More information about Seabourn Venture's new deployment will be available on our website on August 5, 2022.

Seabourn Pursuit
Joining our fleet in September 2023, Seabourn Pursuit will start her maiden season by traveling down the East Coast of South America before joining Seabourn Venture for the Antarctica season. Deployment and itinerary details are in development and more information will be published soon.

As always, the safety and well-being of our guests and team members is our highest priority. We appreciate our guests’ understanding of this change. And look forward to welcoming them on one of our exciting new itineraries.
