A long-distance open-water swimmer, Seabourn conversationalist, motivational speaker and best-selling author, Lynne Cox has been setting world records and opening borders for over 35 years, while contributing to medical research and supporting environmental issues. Best known for opening the border between the U.S. and the Soviet Union with a 1987 swim across the Bering Strait, Cox twice held the overall record for the fastest crossing of the English Channel.
